We get inside GMC's quirky Bulldozer case.

Atomic hasn't looked at any cases from GMC before, so when a box turned up on our doorstep with images of a case on it we knew we just had to take a peek inside.

Picking it up we first noticed the weight - or lack of - coming in at barely four kilograms at a cost of $140.

Pulling it out of the novel air-tube packaging, what we found was something incredibly different from what you'll see anywhere else.

It's compatible with ATX and mATX boards, has a 92mm blue LED intake fan, a 80mm side intake fan and a 120mm exhaust fan, and includes all the usual conveniences such as two USB ports.

Two notable mentions are the inclusion of a fan controller on the sidepanel, and two LED screens with thermal probes for temp reporting inside the case.

There's a lot here, and while the design might not appeal to everyone it is kinda nifty, so jump into the gallery for more.

good to see some out-of-the-box thinking, and I approve of moving the ODD out of the case for the sake of simplifying the internals. Actually I really, really like that idea for some reason.

However the case as a whole could and should have been done better.

Plastic? Everywhere?! Fail.

Wow they have gone completely overboard with the front and left side of the case leaving the right and top bare. Looks different which might appeal to some, but there's an overall cheapness to it with all its plastic parts and riveted panals.

GMC? The tool company? But they went bust, and left a hole in my heart which had previously been being filled with their wonderfully affordable tools.

Interesting case though.

Imagine it in Bulldozer yellow with "used for work" dirt and grease and what not marks. Then It could realise it's potential.

GMC is a Korean company. Made with a lot of plastic and possibly a very small interior compared with my Lian Li.

Like a lot of GMC products (and Holdens), these cases are probably made by Daewoo. (This is a joke. I am in no way suggesting this company is/and/or affiliated with General Motor Company of USA... just thought I'd remove any doubt)

Wouldv been nice if it had top ventilation and the dust filter was in front of the fan but meh.

Some terrible choices with the HDD rack and PSU.

This has to be one of the worst chassis I have ever seen what ever happened to the 5.25 slots and the hard drive is the stupidest idea there so much plastic in this case its not funny.
and those fans there a bit small and a 92mm what if someday it needs replacing there not easy to find.
I admire the designer though because they have done something completely different but I think that the chassis looks cheap.

I will stick with my HAF 932
would never buy this.

I heard the 80mm side fan doesn't have a filter. IF that is true, can I add a external one behind it?
