Atomic takes a sneak peek at EVGA's motherboard - declassified in front of your very eyes!

We first had a look at EVGA's X58 SLI motherboard a few months back, and found it to be a great performer that didn't miss out on many features.

On their X58 Classified mobo however, they've taken "didn't miss out" and changed it to "what else can we pack in??"; including pretty much everything that anyone could want in an enthusiast board.

From the eye-warmingly gorgeous black PCB and red component design, the huge amount of expansion options available or the forest of heatsink that rivals the GIGABYTE P35-DQ6, this is definitely a board that has a lot to show off.

There's quite a lot to look at here so jump into the gallery of pics, and make sure you grab a copy of Atomic to see whether this board can live up to its pedigree.

That is one sexy board. Though you would probably have to sell your soul as well as the soul of your pet/gf/wife to get one.

Though would look good for a mod based around red and black. (This comes to mind: http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/systems-2009/murderbox/009/murderbox.htm)

I can has?

I'm using the same ram as that murdermod system, and a 4550 card (nearest onhand at the time >.>). Looks very swish!

That coolant looks pretty awesome too :)

It's nice but honestly... why do high-end motherboards have 4 PCIe slots? it just looks ridiculous. I mean, if someone actually put in a GFX down the bottom, they'd b cutting off a lot of needed headers.

I reckon it'd been better with 3 PCIe slots, and an extra PCI slot... it has more chance of being used.

Well now that I've had the surprise of forgetting which week in the month it is. I must say that the Foxconn board seems even more awsome [-without trying to give too much away ;)-]

Wow, i bet this board is severely expensive. I'd have to sell the computer i have now plus all the old hardware in the garage just to buy this.

I own 1 of these boards, one of the PCI-e slots can be used for a dedicated Phys-X card. In other words, If you own a super tower with 10 expansion slots I guess you can run TRI-SLI and a dedicated Phys-X card.

For me I run a 965 @ 4ghz with two GTX 295s [quad SLI] with the dedicated PhysX and 12 GBs of 2000MHz CSX , 300GB VelociRaptor,WD 1TB, The 965 is cooled with a 12Tec Boreas Chiller
