Updated: Thermaltake's Element G Case - with more than a few puzzling inclusions...

Thermaltake have a habit of satisfying us with their cases so often we've almost had to take up a smoking addiction, but their Element G case is one that leaves us with cold feet.

It's not really that it's a terrible case, and by all accounts this is incorrect, just that there's so many features here that detract from the whole (and even some that are terrible).

With a mishmash of features borrowed from other designs, the Thermaltake Element G is more like the Element Library, but one thing they forgot to borrow was how to stick a label on the included power supply.

They do include one, which is quite admirable considering it's an enthusiast case, but the one they've chosen is so obviously budget that it's more suited to running a can opener than a serious rig - a fact they seem to agree with due to the complete lack of voltage or amperage information anywhere on the unit.

While we don't want to say too much about the case in here it's hard not to be annoyed at it already, so jump into the gallery of pics to see what we mean, and pick up an upcoming Issue of Atomic to see how it scores.

Update: It seems that the case we received had the PSU added in for our convenience, and was to show off the lights only. The retail version will not contain any power supply at all (which all things considered is probably a good thing).
