We've got our hands on a case big enough to fit the Beast, and it's quite literally the largest we've ever seen.
Lian Li cases are always described with the usual quality quips - they're always greatly designed, expertly machined and exquisitely proportioned.
While much of the underlying design hasn't changed over the years it has evolved somewhat, picking up new features along the way that result in the culmination of these years of experience, in the form of the Lian Li V2120 case.
The V2120 has been highly sought-after for quite some time now, being the only case available in Australia that is compatible with the ridiculous HPTX format used in the EVGA SR2 motherboard (as seen in our Beast).
It offers 11 expansion slots within its hefty 14.4kg frame, comes with five cooling fans as stock (with room for three more on the ceiling), 10 3.5" bays for harddrives and support for four USB3.0 ports.
Lian Li thoughtfully include their heavy-duty aluminium casters below the V2120, which make moving the case around much easier - since it's physically awkward due to its immensity.
There's also internal compatibility with a 360mm radiator for self-contained watercooling, foam dampened panels, and a removable motherboard tray
There's a lot of case on offer here for what will surely be a premium price, and the V2120 isn't going to be cheap when launched in early October. Arguably you'll pay for quality.
Head into the gallery of photos to see the Lian Li V2120 in detail, and keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks as we give the Beast a new home.
It may even turn up at Atomic Unlocked...
