A great effort from Razer.

Unboxing Gallery: Our first look at Razer's Onza Tournament Edition controller for the 360 leaves us wanting to ditch work and play some Red Dead Redemption.

We got our first taste of Razer's Onza controller at last year's Gamescom in Germany, and we've been hungering for it ever since. Now that we've finally gotten on, it's everything we were hoping for.

We'll do a full review in an upcoming issue, but for now, just taking the thing out of the box has left us impressed. Most especially pleasing - and the thing that's gotten everyone in the office talking - is the adjustable tension on the thumbsticks. It really is impressive, delivering quite a wide tension range.

Also good are the longer and more pronounced triggers, and the more precise D-pad with its seperate buttons.

And we've been very good, too. Instead of running away to our game lounge, we've unboxxed the Onza so you can share in all its glory.

Mine came straight from Razer OS, so I'm not sure on an exact local release date, but it shouldn't be too long.

Still having those issues? They seem pretty transient and hard to pin down.

Personally I'd love to see a mix between that one and this one: http://trackballcontroller.com/
