Pros:
Nice feel and good size.
Great Red LED's.
Well placed buttons.
Nice Dpi settings which are adjustable.
Cons:
Needs at couple of more buttons for gaming.
I like this mouse. Granted i'll admit I have only had it a couple of weeks but so far i am very impressed and happy with it. I say welcome back to the Sidewinder ranger from MS. I should piont out that I have the X6 keyboard as well and am happy on that front too.

The On the Fly dpi chaning buttons are easily accessable but still out of the way enought that you dont press the buttons by mistake.
The Side buttons are placed appropriately however I have large hands and find that I am always worried that I will press a side button by mistake.
The scroll wheel is great with fluid movement.

I love using this mouse. It glides over almost any surface and the buttons are smooth placed well.

Two thumbs up from me.

Ps: I can't wait for the wireless X8 to come out in Australia later this year.
