-Great sound
-Ok gameplay
-customisation is cool
-Easy user interface
-Steam!!!
-Buggy graphical errors
Having never played the original, the cut senses and loading screens fill me in with what been happening.
AI is strong enough to know your pulling them into an ambush and back up. They can even use objects for cover. I giggled first time one of the baddies retreated in a mass of panic when the going got tough.
game play is nice if not a little repetitive. The customisation of the troops is also fun. The sounds is also a plus... lots of dynamic sounds, high quality at that!
The graphics are eye bursting on ultra... hold on.... I wouldn't know because the game crashes when I try anything over medium. Consulting the official forums for steam, apparently people all over the world are also experiencing the same graphical glitches. This is a minus 1 billion trillion points in my book. I've just spent $2800 on a new gaming monster and not being able to play a game on ULTRA specs is more than just a kick in the balls. My man parts retract in fear thinking about how bad this is.
So a perfectly great game ruined my a buggy release. There is no patch for this problem yet.
Before every one shouts noob loser. This is based solely on my experience with this game.
My final thought??? A great game when it isn't crashing.
But what's the point of that? Epic fail in my mind...
So as a number 100% awesome - 50% bugginess
