Its stupidly fast average on my board 685mb/s Read 596 mb/s write.
Simple to install
Check with motherboard manufacturer as BIOS update may be required for this Drive to be recognized
Price
Simply Brilliant is the best way to describe the OCZRevodrive 240 GB.
Packaging: good
Installation: To be used as a boot drive you must download the appropriate driver from OCZ. In my case the 64 bit version was the one used.On your motherboard find a 4x PCI slot and insert, try to avoid using a 16x PCI slot as this is a waste of resources in my case I had no choice full crossfire setup.
Installing Windows Ultimate 64 proved to be simplicity itself. On bootup the BIOS recognized the drive instantly and the windows install progressed to the driver install point. The driver installed without incident and Windows completed installation in 3 MINUTES AND 27 SECONDS.
Real world usage.
Windows boot time 13.2 seconds
Shut down 4.9 seconds.
The whole system has a snappier feel.
