Carry Handle
Mesh Side Panel
Power and Reset Buttons Covered
Heavy
Only 2 Fans
No Cable Management
No Removable Motherboard Tray
I had this case when I did my first Core2 Build, I had heard all the hype about it, especially in the Atomic Mag and thought that I’d get it.
By the first look you can easily see that the thing looks like a fuckin’ bomb, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Unfortunately it’s an all steel design and therefore very heavy for its size, taking away the pleasure of the handle, because it’s not something I’d wanna carry around anyway.
The case has absolutely no cable management design and therefore your cables will hang around like the hairs of an unshaven woman. Because of this air flow is very constricted and although it has a nice air management system, it doesn’t get very far.
It’s heavy. Yes, that’s right, it’s HEAVY! It’s an all steel design and therefore quite heavy for its size. You will love it for the handle that it comes with, but I think without it no one would buy this case. Well, that’s my view, anyway.
I guess the price is nice enough price, but to be honest you’re not actually getting much for it. Looking at it broadly, it’s huge hunk of metal that’s had some had some fan holes cut out, and the mesh on the side panel, nothing fancy, but it works.
I wouldn’t really recommend it to anyone, never with the CM690 out there, but it’s alright for the price, and does what it’s suppose to.
