 COLOSSUS! Friday, 23rd March 2007

We’ve managed to squeeze in a couple of tweaks on the site this week, thanks to a sliver of dev time opening up for us. Little things, but so delightfully practical.

Dan’s put up a basic ‘search by user’ function in the search engine. There’s still a bit of tweaking to be done, which we’re doing, but now at last you can more easily check out the form of a particular Atomican, or look for something you may have posted and feared was lost forever.

Another wee tweak we’ve added is a ‘forgot your password?’ function. Yep – we know that every other forum in the world already has these, but ours are hand made, like a painting.

Some other new bits and pieces still to come, all aiming to make your Atomic experience a little sweeter.

And today a huge milestone in Atomic has been passed – we’ve got our first atomican past 40,000 posts! Congrats to LogicprObe! To acknowledge what we once thought was the impossible, we’re creating a new rank for 40,000 posts. Welcome Logic, our first Colossus!

Have a top weekend.

Ben
