It’s difficult to pinpoint our greatest triumph this week. As a reasonable starting point one could comfortably look towards Dave’s devastation of fellow gaming journos on Good Game’s Guitar Hero Roffle Cup.

If you missed the action just head to the Good Game Site and watch the Roffle Cup segment from episode 14. You’ll cringe, you’ll laugh, you’ll cheer, you’ll ROCK!

A more noble triumph, one that we’re especially proud of, is the greenification of Atomic. We’ve signed up for a program that plants trees to CO2-neutralise the Atomic server. The end result being 32 trees a year planted in NSW.

It’s been a good week. We saw Transformers, and have a review sitting in the web holding pen, ready for the press embargo to expire at midnight tonight. At that very second you’ll probably see thousands of Transformers reviews magically appear, but ours is the best, natch.

We’ve had a team triumph too. This week Josh Collins joined the Atomic team as our new technical writer. You’ll be seeing lot of his work very very soon. Josh’s understanding of the Way of Atomic is unsurpassed. He is a master overclocker and tweaker, and has an affinity with PC gear not unlike Dian Fossey had with her gorillas.

Welcome to the team Josh!

Hope you all have a warm, dry, happy and happening weekend.

Ben
