I’m going to rush through today’s newsletter message today. I always do anyway, some days it’s less obvious though.

Because it’s all going on in our photo studio out the back and I’m a gonna be rushing this so I can rush out the back and hang with Jase the photographer and Josh the Atomic Wonder. Why?

Because we’ve got 60 freakin liters of liquid nitrogen to play with today. It’s spilling out of the studio and into the office. We’re all feeling like we’re in Michael Jackson’s Thriller video. Which is a human-perfect state of mind we try and zone into every day, anyway.

Oh, why the LN2? Partly so we can smash snap-frozen roses, and partly because we’re doing a f#*k-off extreme overclocking feature for the next issue. It’s totally nuts. We’ve got a crate of dry ice too, and about a kilometer of copper tubing, and some other materials I don’t understand, but do know is fun to sit on.

Josh is overclocking the buggery out of every interesting chip there is, including AMD’s Barcelona, one of our favourite new playthings that’ll be dug into deep, in the next issue.

I reckon the next issue is gonna be one of The Great Atomics. And prettiest too. The photos Jase is taking are up there with the day we held his head underwater at the local pool and threw a PC at his face. Classic stuff.

Ben

Ps. In very important Live news, you’ll be pleased, I expect, to hear that we’ve hired a few foxy babes to swan around Atomic Live and the World GamesMaster Tournament, to be foxy, and reinforce Atomic’s belief that foxy babes are totally swingin. Right on!

Make sure you’re there.
